Is this Your solution, or their solution?

Family Court has an answer to the question, "How do you reconcile conflict when communication is difficult?"

Problem is, their solution requires a divorce lawyer and money, lots of money. In fact, it is so expensive and so time consuming that only 5% of Family Law cases make it to trial.

The cases that don’t make it to court are negotiated by the divorce lawyers or are abandoned when the parents run out of money. At best, the parents will leave the system much poorer and very frustrated with their ex.

It was hard enough being married and then the divorce process poisoned the water. How will you manage the rest of your life after this?

The question you should ask Family Court is, “Which part of your solution will help me and my ex learn to co-parent my children?”

Because, if you have children, divorce may end your marriage but not your relationship.

The process of mediation resolves conflict and opens pathways to resolve future conflict.

The future is yours.

What happens next is up to you.
